hibiscus iced tea

Hibiscus Glow-Up Iced Tea

Hibiscus is an all-around knockout for its refreshing and cooling qualities while providing potent nutrients that benefit skin and hair. It looks beautiful, tastes incredible, and mixes well with many other flavors.

Ingredients

4 tablespoons organic hibiscus (Or 6-8 hibiscus tea bags)
1 quart (4 cups) filtered or spring water
1-2 tablespoon honey or sugar (to taste)
2 tablespoons Live Conscious® Beyond Collagen or Collagen Peptides
Optional - wedge of lime
Optional - ½ tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
Optional - ¼ cup raspberries, muddled

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring water to a simmer. Turn off heat, add hibiscus and ginger, and stir. Add a lid and let sit for 30 minutes. Strain, and while still warm, add honey or sugar and collagen, stirring to dissolve. Taste and add more sweetener if desired. Refrigerate for about 4 hours or overnight. Pour over ice and muddled raspberries if using. Add a wedge of lime, and enjoy!

classic iced tea

Classic With a Twist

We love classic iced tea, but here we’ve added green tea to level up the skin health benefits by providing added protection against daily sun exposure and other common factors that contribute to the everyday aging of skin.

Ingredients

2 quarts of water (8 cups)
6 black tea bags (or 3 tablespoons loose tea)
2 green tea bags (or 1 tablespoon loose tea)
2 tablespoons Live Conscious® Beyond Collagen or Collagen Peptides
2-4 tablespoons sugar (or more if you like sweet tea)
The juice of 1 lime and/or the juice of 1 orange

Instructions

Bring water to a simmer, remove from heat, and add loose tea or tea bags. Let steep (covered) for 4-6 minutes, depending on how strong you like it. Remove tea bags or strain tea leaves out with a fine-mesh strainer. Add citrus juice, sugar, and collagen, stirring until dissolved. Taste and add more sweetener if desired. Transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate 5-6 hours or overnight. Pour over ice and enjoy!

nettle and mint iced tea

Nourishing Nettle-Mint Cooler

Stinging nettle is a nutritional powerhouse and has a long history of use by wise women to nourish skin and hair health. With loads of vitamin A, calcium, and iron, it’s like a multivitamin all in one plant!

Ingredients

1 quart (4 cups) filtered or spring water
3 tablespoons of organic nettle leaf (or 4-6 tea bags)
1 tablespoon of organic peppermint (or 2-3 tea bags)
2 tablespoons Live Conscious® Beyond Collagen or Collagen Peptides
1-2 tablespoons of honey or sugar (to taste)

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring water to a simmer. Turn off the heat, add nettle leaf and peppermint, and stir. Add a lid and let sit for 20-30 minutes. Strain, and while still warm, add honey and collagen, stirring to dissolve. Taste and add more sweetener if desired. Refrigerate for about 4 hours or overnight. Pour over ice and enjoy!
