How Romantic Is Your Zodiac Sign?

04/16/2020

You want love, romance, and all of the things you hear about in songs, yet it’s just not there for you. Is that because you or your partner’s zodiac sign is sabotaging your romance goals?

All signs of the zodiac are capable of love and romance but at different levels. Naturally, some signs are more expressive, while others are a bit more practical. Learning more about your zodiac sign and that of your partner can help you understand your innate romance potential, and it can help you learn how to play to your strengths so you can more deeply express and experience romance.

Does your zodiac romance prediction fit? What about that of your partner?

Zodiac Signs and Romance

Aquarius: January 20 – February 18

You love a big night out and over-the-top romance, but then you’ll forget an anniversary. The Aquarius is an interesting romantic. They’re big and bold and full of romance, yet they’re neglectful and forgetful at the same time. This can be upsetting to those signs that live for special occasions, but if your partner can learn to appreciate spontaneity, then they’ll love the way you romantically roll.

Pisces: February 19 – March 20

You know life is better with romance. You love to add a little something here, something there–all in the name of romance. You also expect your partner to fill your life with poems and flowers. Of course, that’s not likely to be the case, unless your mate is another Pisces, which can lead to frustration.

Aries: March 21 – April 19

You are hot out of the gate and very good at romance when you’re looking to attract someone. But once that relationship is set, it’s pretty easy for you to forget about romance and feel content with the status quo. This can be confusing and hard for your partner, especially if they came to expect that level of romance.

Taurus: April 20 – May 20

You know you’re romantic, you live for romance. From big gestures to everyday moments, it’s all filled with romance for you. Together time is your best time, and you’ll find a way to make it special. You’re proactive about romance, and your partner is in for a good ride.

Gemini: May 21 – June 20

Meh–romance, schmomance. Why go through all the false effort to make something feel special and romantic when just your commitment to each other should be enough. You’re the cynic when it comes to romance. To you, it feels artificial, but your commitment to another is where it gets real for you.

Cancer: June 21 – July 22

Ah, Cancer, bring on the flowers, the chocolates, a candlelit dinner–it’s all wonderful in your book. You love romance. In fact, the more cliché, the better. You want to transform every moment into something to treasure, and romance is your key to happiness.

Leo: July 23 – August 22

Sincerity is the key to the heart of the lion. Romance is important to you, but not just for romance’s sake, it needs to be genuine. You’ll find romance in great art, in the beauty of nature, in regular moments that make you feel connected to your partner. A Leo will especially be swayed by big, romantic gestures that are customized–never expect to succeed with a simple card on Valentine’s Day for this sign.

Virgo: August 23 – September 22

A smile from your partner, out of the blue, from across the room, can be incredibly satisfying for you. Cooking your favorite meal when you’ve had a rough day is enough for a Virgo. Romance is easy for you because you see it in the little things. That said, you also express it that way, so your partner is probably not going to receive regular, elaborate romantic gestures from you.

Libra: September 23 – October 22

If there’s no romance, what’s the point. This is your attitude–it’s all romance, or it’s not worth it. A Libra is wonderful at showering their partner with love and romantic gestures. They spend a lot of time and thought planning the next romantic move and pleasing their partner is a priority. The problem is, they expect the same from their partners, and unless their partner is another Libra, it might be hard to keep up the romance at this level.

Scorpio: October 23 – November 21

You would die for your partner in a heartbeat, but you’re probably going to forget their birthday. For a Scorpio, their love and commitment run deep, and it defines who they are, but romance tends to slip their mind. If you find a partner who appreciates your fierce dedication and doesn’t care much for tokens of affection, you’ll be in a good place. If your partner needs those gestures to feel romance, you better add that to your calendar, or you’re apt to forget.

Sagittarius: November 22 – December 21

You’ve mastered the romance calendar, and you feel good about it. You remember special occasions, birthdays, first dates, and all the important stuff. The problem is you get the same bouquet or chocolates every. single. time. It’s true, you’re unoriginal when it comes to romance and stick to the tried and true. Granted, you should get points for remembering stuff but try to mix it up a little bit to keep your partner guessing.

Capricorn: December 22 – January 19

You would rather donate blood than watch a rom-com. True story. For you, love is about the day in and day out. It’s about the big picture and a realistic approach to a happy life. You’re generous and caring but don’t want to be held up to the artificial and unrealistic expectations set by romance. Your mate is lucky to have a partner like you, but would it kill you to throw in a few token gestures here and there, just to make them happy.

Waking Up To Wellness

Do you see yourself in your zodiac sign? What about your partner? When you look objectively at your approach to romance, and what you expect from it, and then look at your partner, it’s easy to see how you can compromise in ways that make you both happier and romantically fulfilled.

It’s not always about the big gestures. For some, no gesture is necessary at all. It’s really about showing your love by giving your partner what makes them happy.
